Floodland

Days, and days of rain have left the river swollen and overspilling its banks.

Saturday:

Normal river level – see post…

…just keeping above water.

Situationally Ironic Canoe

Usually a dry beach here.

Kids jump off this into the river… normally.

Canoe of Irony, again.

Sunday:

River’s a couple of inches higher.

All the river.

The drowning post, again.

A nice place to sit… in the river.

Front deck is fully underwater.

Jetty’s deck timbers now underwater.

Isolated gate.

Private water.

Alleged jetty.

A park sits under here.

The river has eaten the road.
