Why Donate?
If you’re here as a result of a donate link in an article on the site, go right ahead and hit the link above. If not, perhaps the question is “why donate?”
What it comes down to is that being an artist doesn’t cover a lot of costs in life, and usually requires some really expensive equipment and facilities. A lot of what I write about on here has tended to be technical articles on reasonably obscure topics, for which information was hard to find. Many hours of research go into what I’ve covered here, and while that research has often been to my benefit, documenting it for others doesn’t help pay the web hosting bill. So, if any of those articles have been of use, consider chucking a couple of bucks my way as a thankyou. Or, go buy some of my books. Hell, if you’re feeling really generous, maybe a sculpture.
